1. Silent Reading: Read your AR book or a NewsELA article.

2. Any Small Goodness, Pg. 4 in your packet. What is a simile?

3. Answer the questions for Chapter 1 "Before You Move On". They are in Google Classroom.

1. CNN News: "Predictions are made for the Atlantic hurricane season, a replica of an ancient Syrian artifact is unveiled in London, and we feature a new Character Study."

2. Complete Mulan worksheets (2). They will be handed to you.

3. Web Quest: Finish Links 5 and 6, get started on link 7.

4. Film: Mulan. Continue with the presentation and if time permits, complete worksheet.
