4th per. - Language Arts

1. Finish reading Inside Out from The Circuit (we left off on pg. 20) aloud.

2. Inside Out Guided Reading questions which can be found in your Language Arts Google Classroom.
Due: Next Wednesday, February, 10, 2016.

• Make sure to answer in complete sentences. Some questions have more than one question, and therefore require MORE than one answer!

3. If you get done early, you may work on any missing assignments that you need to complete. CHECK your Google Classroom to see if I've returned any of your work!!! Make sure to READ the private comments I left you OR read your AR books. :)

5th per. - Social Studies

1. CNN Student News - Venture into the forest of Uganda, witness the world's largest human migration, get the results of the Iowa caucuses, and hear a woodchuck's weather forecast.

2. Ch. 6 Section 3 - India’s Vedic Age

Today we are going to continue to learn about the impact the Aryans had on ancient and modern India. We will read about what their lives were like and some of their early religious beliefs (which would later become part of the foundation of the religion of Hinduism). Specifically, we will try to understand the Varna system (which the caste system evolved from).

I've posted your assignment in your Social Studies Google Classroom. READ the short excerpt (section) and then complete the questions that follow. If you have to re-read something do it! Make sure it makes sense to you!
