Wednesday: 01/13/16

Good morning/afternoon everyone. I hope everyone is having a great day thus far. Here's what's going on for today.

4th Period - Language Arts:
Today you'll be writing about your winter break. At the end of composing, editing, reediting, and polishing it up you'll end up with a finely tuned essay (~250 words). You will open a NEW word document on your Google Drive and title it (eg. My Winter Break or whatever you choose to title it). If you don't have your chromebook, please take out or grab a piece of binder paper.  Remember to include as much detail and information you can.

Describe your winter break. Did you go anywhere? Did you visit any family? Any family visit you? If you celebrated Christmas, how did you celebrate? What types of gifts did you receive? What kind of food did you eat? Please be specific and provide enough info. You will be constructing one essay at the end of this. *These are just some questions to get you thinking and started on your essay. You can write about anything that you did over the break!  It should be 250 words!

2. If you think you finished early, go back and read what you wrote. Does it makes sense? Have a classmate read it.
